Sculptural and modern solid walnut three legged armless lounge chair by Morten Stenbæk. The Whale Chair is hand carved by the artist and the back resembles the tail of a whale, hence the name. Organic and curvaceous in form the entire chair is constructed from solid walnut and oil finished. Sculpted seat with joint details at front legs. Surprisingly comfortable and ergonomic! Inspired by designs by Wendell Castle. Signed and dated by the artist. Finish in Linseed Oil.
