PK 111 is a laminated wood element that is assembled to produce freestanding partitions. Each element is constructed of two bent pieces of three-ply laminated Oregon pine joined with an offset, creating a narrow gap at each end. Kjærholm initially intended the element to be produced in varying heights. Its final height was determined by its use at the Kjærholm house.
