PK 80 was one of the most sophisticated works from this period by Kjaerholm. Its striking proportions, the elegance of its materials and connections, and the beauty of the large welted leather mattress produced an iconic work that was and remains one of Kjaerholm’s finest creations. The lineage of PK 80 illustrates Kjaerholm’s method of refining historical models according to the properties of the materials he used.
